Congratulations to Amanda and Ross who were married at Old Rectory, Dunton on 31st July 2014.

Amanda and Ross loved the design of a cake I'd made previously and opted for fresh flowers instead of icing flowers to help keep costs down. The cake was decorated with moulded vintage lace to reflect Amanda's wedding dress and Faith at Finishing Touches by Faith Gurel added her beautiful flowers.

Sue, from the minute we met you, saw your display cakes and had our first taste of your yummy flavours we both knew that we wanted you to make our wedding cake - we had met many people and tasted many cakes but there really was no comparison. You were so lovely every step of the way, even helping me with non-cake-relate d wedding stuff, you always kept us informed and were brilliant at making our vague ideas into something that could actually happen.

On the day itself the cake looked stunning - we were so thrilled with it and we had lots of comments from the guests about how great it looked and tasted. Every tier was delicious and we were glad that we made sure to save some to enjoy at home ( I love my family and friends but not enough to let them get too much of the raspberry and almond sponge).

Thank you for helping to make our day so special. We would recommend you to anyone that is looking for a cake that looks amazing and tastes delicious.
