This elegant design featured sequins taken from the design of their wedding invitations, swirled ruffles to reflect elements on Charlotte's dress and delicate brush embroidery taken directly from the design of the lace on Charlotte's dress. The cake was given a pearlised sheen to reflect the light and was topped with a display of real flowers. Charlotte and Tommy wanted to bring a little of the Caribbean to their reception so I developed a new cake for them in the form of tropical and coconut sponge. They also had chocolate orange, lemon and traditional sponge.
