There's just such a feeling of calmness, tranquility and quiet anticipation that greets me every time I visit Blake Hall and with the sun shining yet again, I felt so privileged to be a part of all the preparations for Charlotte and Oliver's special day. Outside, the gardens were being tended, bridesmaid's were busy getting things ready, other vendors were setting up and the events team were on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Charlotte and Oliver's sage green, 3 tier, fondant iced wedding cake featured my favourite element which is hand made sugar flowers - they had a mix of dahlia, roses, gyp, stock, lisianthus, eucalyptus and ruscus, and being made of icing, they had the bonus of being able to keep the flowers afterwards as a lasting keepsake.
Their flavours were salted caramel, lemon & Elderflower and raspberry & white chocolate. They also had personalised handmade biscuit favours, which were placed at each table setting.
Everything look glorious as I left and I knew Charlotte and Oliver were going to have the most amazing day - congratulations to you both and wishing you a wonderful future together. X
